World Wetlands Day

To mark the anniversary of the signing of the Ramsar Convention (Iran, 1971), each 2 Febrary it is celebrated the World Wetlands Day (ponds, meadows, marshes, permanent and temporary pools, wetlands, salt flats ...) This international treaty aims at the conservation and wise use of wetlands and their resources and this celebration aims to disclose the value of such natural areas, one of the most productive and biodiverse.


World Bird Day

The weekend of 4-5 October it is celebrated the World Bird Day in the Ebro delta. The SEO Birdlife organization prepares banding acts of observation and spreads it throughout the State.


River Ebro Cruises

The Ebro is the largest river in the Iberian Peninsula, the only major peninsular river which flows into the Mediterranean. It is born in the southern slopes of the Cantabrian Mountains, from which follows a path with a length of about 910 kilometers and 83,093 square kilometers to the Mediterranean basin, where it flows to form a broad delta of 500 square kilometers.
